In Killicomaine Junior High School we operate a 'Merit System'. This is a way of keeping a record of all the good work our pupils do, and also of any bad behaviour.

At the end of a set period, all the good marks and bad marks are totalled for each pupil.

There are prizes for the winning class in each Year group and also for the best pupil in each class.

Most of our pupils then get an afternoon film show, projected onto a large screen in the Assembly Hall. The small number of pupils who have too many bad marks spend that afternoon doing extra work.
