Soirée
au Restaurant Français 2007
|
|
On the 24th April 2007, 54 pupils from 10th year A and B classes went to the Seagoe Hotel for a French meal. The meal was organised by our two French teachers, Mrs Bleakley and Mrs McClenaghan and six other teachers came along to make sure no food was wasted! |

| The
dress code for the night was basically anything French or if you weren't
daring enough to play the "Three Musketeers", anything red,
white and blue would do as well.. |

| Mrs
Bleakley had arranged some games to make sure we weren't bored in between
courses. We were all split into teams and worked up points by completing
a "Who Is It?" picture puzzle, a quiz and finally the hardest
exercise of the night, building an Eiffel Tower out of plastic cups. |

The
Muppeteers were disqualified from the Eiffel Tower challenge because
unfortunately Jonny Corry was not allowed to actually be part of the
tower , even with his legs taped up at the ankles and a cup on top of
his head. In the end Sazzy G and the Eskimos stole the show with the
tallest tower (not containing any body parts). |

We
all had a great time, the food was brilliant and Mrs Bleakley as an
onion seller was something else altogether. Thankyou very much to all
the teachers for a great evening. |
